This week's focus is the four times table.  Watch the video below and join in if you can. Once you have watched the four times table song, log on to your TTRockstars account (your username and password are in the back of your reading record) and use 'Garage' to practise.

9:30 am - Maths

 

Today's maths lesson will be a mixed practise of written method for addition and subtraction. Watch Miss Millar's explanation of how to solve questions like this then complete your worksheet practising using both  written method for addition and for subtraction.

 

Once you complete today's maths lesson, log on to Mathletics (username and password in the back of your reading record) and complete any of the  'Autumn - Add and Subtract' activities.

In Today's English lesson, we will be focusing on using expanded noun phrases. Watch the video below to see Mr. Turner explain what a noun phrase is, what an expanded noun phrase is and model how to create them. Once you have watched the video, complete your worksheets and then go on IXL and complete -Year 4 - F.2 Identify the adjective that describes the noun.

This afternoon's foundation lesson will continue our learning about the Ancient Greeks. Today, we will be learning about one of Ancient Greece’s most famous city-states - Athens. Read through the flip charts slides to find out what Ancient Athens was like and its social structure. Once you have read through the flip chart, complete your worksheet.
