Digital Leaders
Being a Digital leader helps to develop Digital Literacy, pupil leadership skills
and Online Safety.
We are part of the Arch Alliance Digital Leaders Group which consists of local schools.
We are set challenges each half term and our achievements are posted on the Digital Alliance Blog: https://rochdale.digital-leaders.org/2023/11/03/challenge-1-autumn/
Our NEW Digital Leaders for 2023/24 are –
In Year 5 Amidat, Harrison, Franky and Jakub. In year 6 Ashdon, Amani, Beverly and Chirayu.
We all have different roles in school:
- Tidying the computer trollies
- Preparing the Computer suite for lessons every day
- Promoting online Safety across school
As a group we discussed Online Safety and identified being safe on Social media really important and relevant to the children at Bowlee Park.
We made a poster to show pupils how to stay safe on Social media. We distributed them to all the classes in KS2 and around school.
