At Bowlee Park our RE curriculum is devised from the locally agreed Rochdale syllabus which encourages an enquiry model, ensuring that all children learn about Religion and learn from Religion. It is a multi-faith syllabus that reflects that fact that ‘religious traditions in Great Britain are in the main Christian, while taking account of the teaching and practices of the other principal religions represent in Great Britain’ (Education Act 1996 Section 375).
The RE syllabus is delivered to pupils from Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) to year 6 and gives an insight into the following four major world faiths:

Bowlee Prayers
We have devised some school prayers which have been linked to our school values of respect, kindness, ambition, resilience and cooperation. These prayers are used during collective worship to provide an opportunity for reflection.
