Raising Aspirations Challenge
In Year 6, we were due to begin our Raising Aspirations programme, looking towards the future and ways to achieve our goals. The group Positive Footprints, who devised the programme, has set a challenge which aims to test your resilience as well as your imagination. It's a fun activity but resilience is an essential life skill, so have fun developing yours!

Year 6 is a very important year for all our children. It is very fast paced, as we prepare your children for SATS and High School. Similarly to secondary school, in Year 6 your children may be taught by different teachers as we move into different groups for maths, English and science. Class teachers are Mrs Woodward (6.1 and Year 6 Leader), Miss Hardwick (6.2 ) and Miss Finn (6.3) with support provided by Mrs McGrady, Mrs Cawley and Mrs McCarthy; additional teaching is provided by Mrs Hinton (Unit Leader) and Mr Shackleton. This ensures that children can learn at the right pace to ensure their progress.
Thank you for all of the ongoing support at home to help children achieve, to feel confident and be prepared for the day.
