Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment. If you have any concerns regarding the safeguarding of any of our pupils please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Smith. Please see the safeguarding section of our website under Key Information > Safeguarding.
Each week pupils will be set online learning tasks to be completed along side their homework.
Maths will be set on Mathletics. These tasks will be set on a Friday to be completed by the following Friday.
Bugs Books, Numbots and TT Rockstars online learning are an on going task for the children to visit.
We expect the children to do a minimum of 10 minutes reading each night. Please sign your child's reading record every time they read.
Spellings will be given out at the start of each week. They must be learnt and practised using sentences to understand the meaning as we carry out a spelling test on Friday.
English and Maths
English and Maths homework will be given out on Friday to be completed and handed in on Wednesday. All homework is linked to the work that the children have been doing during that week. If homework is not completed your child will be given the opportunity to finish the work during playtime the following day.
